While in town for a White House visit, Michelle Obama visited two potential schools for daughters Malia and Sasha when they move to the White House in January.

Speculation on where the Obama girls will go to school has been a hot topic around Washington since Election Day.  The future first lady visited at least two schools Monday in consideration for 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha.

Michelle Obama visited Georgetown Day School, one of the district's premier private schools, Monday morning.

Eric Holder, an advisor to Barack Obama, is on the Board of Trustees.

After her White House tour, Michelle Obama visited Sidwell Friends School in Northwest Washington Monday afternoon.

Chelsea Clinton attended the highly-regarded school when her father was president.

Vice-President-Elect Joe Biden's grandchildren attend Sidwell.

Robert Gibbs, who is acting as Barack Obama's spokesman, said he knew nothing of the family's school selection process.

A D.C. schools official told News 4 Monday night that the school system had not been contacted by the Obamas.
