SUV Crashes into D.C. Row House

One passenger was transported to the hospital

An SUV lost control at about 5 a.m. Friday and ended up running into a row house at North Capitol and O Streets in northwest Washington.

One passenger was transported to the hospital.

The driver was a little scratched up but OK; he told NBC Washington that a driver, who he assumed was drunk, cut him off, causing him to overcorrect and lose control of his vehicle.  The second car he spoke of did not stay on the scene.

The crash damaged the electric meter in front of the row house that's been converted into a business.

Pepco was called to the scene.  There was no immediate word on if any charges will be filed in the crash.
