Video Shows Person of Interest in Northeast D.C. Murder

Police have released surveillance footage of a person of interest in the murder of a man in Northeast D.C. early Monday.

Police responded about 2 a.m. Monday to the 1900 block of Capitol Avenue NE, northeast of Gallaudet University, after a report of gunshots. There, they found Percy Williams, 20, of Northeast, D.C., suffering from a gunshot wound

Williams died in a hospital from his injuries.

Police shared video on Thursday of a person of interest in the murder. The man's image was caught on nearby surveillance cameras.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. The police department is offering a reward of as much as $25,000 to anyone who can provide information about the identity of the suspect.
