Residents inside a Reston townhome were able to safely escape an early morning fire Tuesday.
Fairfax County Fire officials say heavy fire was coming from the roof of the home when crews arrived to the 1600 block of Apricot Court.
While no one was injured, there was some damage to the townhouse.
The large response to the scene caused some traffic issues in the area surrounding the townhome community.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
