Ravens Player Arrested at Towson Restaurant

A Baltimore Ravens player was arrested late Saturday night after police said he interfered with an investigation at a restaurant.

Baltimore County police said they were called to the Green Turtle restaurant on York Road after 9 p.m. and told there was a female passed out in the bathroom. When they arrived, they found a woman in the women’s bathroom vomiting in the sink.

Officers said there was a man in the bathroom as well, holding onto the woman so she didn’t fall to the floor. Police called for crews to provide medical care for the woman.

Officers said they asked the man, who identified himself as Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith, to leave the bathroom three times. Once they got him out of the bathroom, Smith was arrested and charged with failure to obey the lawful order of a police officer.

Smith was issued a criminal citation and released from custody.
