Prison Escapee May Be Headed to D.C.

May Be in a Silver 2008 Kia Spectra

A Baltimore prison escapee may be headed to our area, authorities say.

Paul Bryan Palmer, 32, is a bald white male, 5'10" and 185 pounds. He is wanted for attempted murder.

Palmer may be traveling with a white female companion. They are believed to be driving a silver 2008 Kia Spectra with a Maryland tag of 1EWB10. The vehicle may be using a "donut" spare tire.

Palmer was last seen in the area of Belair Road and I-695 in Maryland, around 8 a.m. Saturday morning. At the time, he was wearing a black baseball cap, a sleeveless white "muscle" T-shirt, jeans and brown work boots.

Palmer escaped from the Baltimore City Police Department Friday afternoon while waiting to be transferred to central booking. Authorities say Palmer complained of a hand injury. Detectives brought him back into the lobby of the police station, where Palmer was able to slip out of his cuffs and flee.

Anyone with information should dial 911 immediately. The suspect is considered dangerous.
