A Woodbridge, Va., man was arrested Thursday in connection with the rape of a 14-year-old girl he allegedly knew.
Detectives from the Prince William County Police’s Special Victims Bureau arrested Isidro Osotro Romero, 37, of the 14300 block of Ferndale Road Thursday night. He has been charged with five counts of rape and is currently being held without bond.
Romero allegedly raped the girl multiple times from December 2012 to July 2013. The two knew each other, police said.
Prince William Police began investigating reports of rape in the area on July 16. Detectives obtained a warrant against Romero two days later, and he turned himself in later that evening.
No court date has been set for him yet.
