Pr. George's Police Look For Clues In Capitol Heights Killing



    A murder investigation in Prince George's County after a 71-year-old woman is found dead inside her Capitol Heights home. Darcy Spencer has the latest on the investigation. (Published Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013)

    Police in Prince George's County will be canvassing a Capitol Heights neighborhood Sunday afternoon in response to the killing of a 71-year-old woman.

    Investigators say that Geraldine Joyce McIntyre, of the 1200 block of Chapel Oaks Drive, was found with trauma to her upper body at approximately 3 p.m. Saturday. McIntyre was later pronounced dead a local hospital.

    Authorities have released a description of a possible suspect in the case. He is described as a man between 30 and 45 years old, standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches with a slim build and dark complexion. Police say this suspect may have been wearing a dark brown or black leather jacket, a black skull cap, and black pants. He may have also been carrying a black bag.
