Police in Virginia say they've found what could possibly be skeletal human remains.
A Loudoun County sheriff's deputy found the bones while patrolling a wooded area near West Church Road and North Aspen Avenue in Sterling on Saturday.
Authorities in Loudoun County said the discovery was made near an elementary school and a high school.
Investigators and the local medical examiner's office are working to determine the origin of the remains.
