Police: Woman, 86, Raped at Home

    BROOKLYN PARK, Md. -- An 86-year-old woman was raped by an intruder who climbed into her bed in her Brooklyn Park home, Anne Arundel police said.

    The woman told police she was asleep at about 3 a.m. Saturday in her home in the 5200 block of Patrick Henry Drive when she awoke to a man assaulting her.

    The man was dressed in black and wearing a mask, police said. The attacker fled after the assault. Police are searching for the man.

    The woman was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
