Police Locate Caregivers of Toddler Found in Silver Spring

Police are trying to find the caregivers of a toddler who was found in an apartment complex in Silver Spring.

The boy, who is about 2 or 3 years old, was found by security personnel at an apartment on Sunday about 8:40 a.m. He was wandering alone, Montgomery County Police say.

He wasn't able to tell officers where he lived, and police were not able to find his parents or guardians, according to police.

The boy was taken to the police station, where he is being taken care of until his caregivers are found, police say.
