Police Release Sketch of Man Wanted in 18-Year-Old's Murder

Prince George's County police have released a composite sketch of the man they believe is responsible for the murder of an 18-year-old woman.

Allyssa Banks and an unidentified man were found shot in a car in the 10200 block of Prince Place in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, at 1:44 a.m. Oct. 19, 2016.

Banks was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victim's injuries were not life-threatening.

Police believe the suspect tried to rob the victims before shooting them.

Banks was a recent graduate of Largo High School and had enrolled at Prince George's Community College.

"She wanted to be a psychologist to help people," said friend Gloria Poole.

Poole described her like a second daughter.
