Police: Man Stole Packages From Northern Va. Homes

    Under the Tucson Sun

Police believe one man is responsible for stealing at least 40 packages from the front doorsteps of homes in Arlington.

Undercover officers were patrolling the Ballston area in response to reports of package thefts when they saw a man acting suspiciously, Arlington County Police said. Police say they saw a man opening packages he plucked from doorsteps and stealing their contents.

They arrested 22-year-old Keith Moore, of Prince George's County and the District of Columbia.

He's charged with grand larceny, credit card theft and fraud. He was denied bond. It's unclear whether he has an attorney.

Police say they believe Moore has stolen at least 40 packages over the last several months.
