    A 7-Eleven convenience store employee was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Clinton, Maryland, and the gunman is still at large, police said.

    Prince George's County police said they were called to the 9700 block of Brandywine Road in Clinton for reports of a shooting about 4:50 a.m.

    Once they arrived on the scene, they found Taiwo Oduwole, 31, inside the business suffering from gunshot wounds.

    Oduwole died a short time later at a hospital, police said.

    Police said it appears someone was trying to rob the store. Detectives believe the same person robbed a hotel in the 7900 block of Malcolm Road in Clinton a short time after the shooting.

    Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest or indictment.
