Two 18-year-old tourists visiting the U.S. Capitol were groped there by a man, News4 has learned.
The tourists were in the Capitol visitor's center Nov. 22 when they spotted a man taking pictures of a girl. The man also groped them, they told police, the report says.
The women notified a Capitol police officer who was on patrol.
After an investigation, officers arrested a 31-year-old man. He is charged with misdemeanor sex abuse.
He also was a tourist, News4 has learned.
Police redacted the suspect's name in an arrest report obtained by News4.
