Police Look for Toddler Taken From Virginia Home

Police are looking for a Roanoke toddler who was taken from his home by three men.

An Ambert Alert was issued Friday morning for 2-year-old Aveion Malik Lewis.

Police said the men knocked Lewis' stepfather unconscious and took the boy late Thursday afternoon. They left a note asking for money.

The men may be traveling in a white 1990s Chevrolet Blazer.

The boy is described as black with close-cut black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing yellow SpongeBob Squarepants footie pajamas.

Police said the suspects are a 6-foot-2 black male in his late 20s with a stocky build and beard; a 5-foot-11 black male in his late 20s with dreadlocks and a muscular upper body; and a 5-foot-11 black male, 23 to 24 years old, with no facial hair.
