Police investigating a car crash in Laurel, Maryland, found a man who had been shot inside his car.
Officers were called to the 15800 block of Millbrook Lane at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a crash. On the way, they found a disabled vehicle in the area of Millbrook Land and Sandy Spring Road.
Inside, they found 18-year-old William Riley Jr. Police say he had been shot.
Riley was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Investigators believe Riley was shot inside his vehicle and hit a parked car on Millbrook Lane as he was trying to get away.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Investigators say it does not appear to be random incident.
