Police are investigating a body found on the side of the road on the inner loop of the Beltway in Silver Spring between Georgia Avenue and Colesville Road.
Montgomery County Police said they are investigating the death as suspicious.
The dead person was identified only as a man; police did not reveal any more details about the body or anything about the cause of death.
The investigation has closed the right lane of the inner loop in that area and caused heavy traffic in the area.
