Police Investigate Indecent Exposure Incident at Alexandria Library

Man exposed himself to woman in Duncan Library

Alexandria Police are looking into a report of indecent exposure at a local library.

A 35-year-old woman reported that a man exposed himself to her Wednesday in Duncan Library, located at 2501 Commonwealth Avenue.

She called the police, but the man had already left the scene by the time they arrived.

Last year, another disturbing incident at a Virginia library involved a teenager.

In November, a man tried to grab a 17-year-old girl in the ladies room of the Thomas Jefferson Library in Falls Church. The girl kicked him and screamed, and he fled the scene. Kevin Lee Porter, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with abduction in that case.
