Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in Glen Burnie

Anne Arundel County police are investigating a fatal shooting in Glen Burnie, and detectives say the suspect and the victim knew each other.

The shooting happened early Sunday morning on Arbor Drive, where police say a homeowner shot a man who had been allowed into the house.

Police say 34-year-old Matthew Martin Pinkerton, who lives at the home, faces charges including second-degree murder and manslaughter. Court records don't identify a defense lawyer.

The victim, identified as 25-year-old Kendall Arnaz Green, was found dead by police on the front porch of the home. His body was taken to the medical examiner's office.

Police say Pinkerton and Green knew each other and that detectives consider the shooting domestic-related. The motive is under investigation.
