Police are investigating an alleged kidnapping and assault in northwest Washington.
Officers were called to the 1700 block of Foxhall Road NW at around 7 a.m. Thursday. The victim told police she got into the suspect's car voluntarily at first, but claims she was later held against her will.
Authorities at the scene examined a car they believed to be involved.
Details surrounding the incident remain fuzzy, but traffic in the area was heavily affected by the police investigation. Foxhall Road was closed for about four hours.
There's no word on whether anyone was taken into custody.
