Police Hunt Robbers Dressed As Cops

Two men pulled men over before robbing him

D.C. Police are looking for two men who impersonated police officers by pulling a motorist over before robbing the man of his money early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at 3 a.m. on the 4800 block of Texas Avenue, Southeast. Investigators say that two men in a vehicle with flashing lights on the dashboard pulled over another vehicle. The two men got out of their car wearing tactical jackets bearing the word "Police" in white, walked over to the pulled-over car, and ordered the driver out of his car.

Police say the two men made the victim put his hands on the hood of his car before rifling through his pockets and stealing an undisclosed sum of money. The suspects then fled in their own car.
