Police in Maryland are investigating a crash in which two drivers died in Gaithersburg.
Montgomery County Police say it happened Saturday around 7 p.m. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the driver of an Acura TL was on Quince Orchard Boulevard turning left onto eastbound Quince Orchard Road when a Dodge Durango hit the Acura. The driver of the Dodge had a red light at the time.
The driver of the Acura was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Dodge was transported to a hospital where he died.
Police say neither driver was wearing a seatbelt.
Police identified the driver of the Dodge as 41-year-old Jared Lee Fondren of American Fork, Utah. The driver of the Acura was identified as 67-year-old Bok Sun Kim of Gaithersburg.
