Police Charge Second Suspect in University of Maryland Armed Robbery

Suspect not in custody

Police charged a second suspect in the first robbery on the University of Maryland campus in College Park in a year.

Dominic Alonzo Amos, 21, of Suitland, faces charges including armed robbery, first-degree assault and theft. Amos is not in custody.

A Maryland student told police that he was approached by two men wearing masks in a parking lot near Cecil Hall Nov. 17. One pulled a knife and demanded the victim's property.

University of Maryland police previously charged 21-year-old Isaiah Graham, of Riverdale. He is under investigation for a separate series at George Washington University.

University of Maryland police said the case is closed with the identification of a second suspect.
