Police: Bicyclist Stabbed Man in Neck

A man was stabbed by a bicyclist and his laptop bag stolen from him shortly after midnight Saturday, according to Anne Arundel County police.

The suspect stabbed the man in the neck, took his laptop bag from him, and fled on the bike toward Freetown Road.

Officers could not locate the rider. The victim is in stable condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with a laceration to his neck.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, 6’ tall with gray facial hair. He was wearing all dark clothing and riding a mountain bike.
