Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who was found in a shallow grave in a Montgomery County park last month.
Bow hunters discovered the body in Great Seneca Stream Valley Park in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on Aug. 29. Police say the body was found off the Greenway Trail, 200 yards from Watkins Mill Road.
The chief medical examiner’s office ruled the death a homicide due to upper body trauma.
The victim is described as a Hispanic man in his late teens to 20s. He was wearing red and blue LeBron James sneakers, two pairs of shorts, and a pair of sock. The victim was also carrying a rosary, a gold necklace and a business card from a transportation company in Argentina.
Investigators released photos of the items on Tuesday in hopes that someone might recognize them
Investigators believe the victim's body was in the grave less than six months.
