Police: Four Arrested in Fredericksburg Homicide

Police in Fredericksburg say they've arrested all four men that they believe are connected to a November homicide.

On Nov. 24, officers found the body of Rodney Beanum Jr. in the 1900 block of Howard Avenue after responding to a report of gunfire.

Neighbors told police they saw several figures running from the scene.

Earlier this month, three men were arrested in connection with Beanum's death: Wesley Carlton Smith, 22, was arrested in Stafford County on Dec. 18 while 19-year-old Lorenzo McKinley Jones was arrested in Richmond the next day. Diontae Washington, 22, turned himself in to police in Richmond on Dec. 21.

Friday, authorities said they were searching for 23-year-old John Edwin Pegram II -- but later in the day they found him near Richmond.

All four men face first degree murder and robbery charges for the shooting death of Beanum, police said.
