Pit Bulls Found Malnourished, Chained to Posts in Anne Arundel County

Early Friday morning, Anne Arundel County Police found five malnourished, tethered and chained pit bulls.

According to a release, the dogs were found during execution of a search warrant in the 7800 block of Freetown Road in Glen Burnie. Along with the five pit bulls, officers found one deceased pit bull, frozen to the ground.

The dogs were found without food or water.

The pit bulls have been named Hurricane, Blizzard, Whirlwind, Tsunami and Tornado.

The dogs, ranging in age from 10 months to 4 years old, have been properly sheltered but are not up for adoption yet.
