Montgomery County authorities say that a man has been killed after being struck by a Red Line train at the Rockville station.
Investigators say the incident happened at around 11:15 a.m. and was being classified as a suicide.
According to Metro, trains bypassed the station until shortly before noon. Normal service was resumed shortly after 2 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
