Police are looking for the first of two vehicles that struck and killed a pedestrian in Frederick County.
Levon Duvall Hallenbeck, 32, of Frederick, Md., was walking northbound along Buckeystown Pike when he was struck by a vehicle that was also traveling northbound around 11:38 p.m. Wednesday. A second vehicle didn't see Hallenbeck in the street and struck him as well.
Hallenbeck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say only the second vehicle remained at the scene. Witnesses told police the vehicle that fled the scene may have been a Chevrolet Malibu.
