Prince George's County police are investigating a deadly hit and run involving a pedestrian.
It happened in the 2400 block of University Boulevard in Lewisdale.
Police say officers found a man unresponsive in the road there just before 9 p.m. Saturday. Rescuers took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified him as Samuel Diaz, 28, from Hyattsville.
Detectives believe the person who hit Diaz was driving a silver SUV that likely has front end damage now.
Police say there were no crosswalks in the area where they found Diaz.
