One person died in a crash involving a tractor-trailer in the Hagerstown, MD., area Monday afternoon.
The truck collided head on with a car about 3 p.m. along interstate 81.
Police say
The truck crossed the median, hit the car and went over an embankment. The driver of the car was killed.
The truck driver and passenger were taken to a nearby hospital.
Interstate 81 is shut down in both directions in the area.
