One Firefighter Injured in Three-Alarm Townhouse Fire in Md.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries Saturday afternoon at a three-alarm fire in a townhouse development in Brunswick, Maryland.

Firefighters were called to the development in the 1000 block of Orndorff Court shortly after 1 p.m., said Frederick County Fire Chief Denise Pouget.

The blaze spread to two other town homes, and it took nearly 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Firefighters from other nearby jurisdictions had to be called in to assist the Frederick County Fire Department.

Fire investigators are still on the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
