One person was found dead early Christmas morning after a house fire in Calvert County.
Thursday, the victim was identified as 63-year-old Abdiel Ridgely Albaugh. He died of died of smoke inhalation and burns, officials said.
The blaze, in a two-and-a-half story home in the 6500 block of Lower Marlboro Lane in Owings, broke out at about 4 a.m. and was reported by a neighbor, who called 911.
Inside the home, investigators found the victim's body. The victim's identity and the cause of the death have not yet been determined.
The home and three vehicles were heavily damaged, with $250,000 in damages reported.
