Non-Traditional St. Patrick's Day Brews

For the times when you've had enough Guinness

Greg Engert , beer director of the Neighborhood Restaurant Group joined Angie Goff in studio to talk St. Patrick’s Day beers. Greg showed us some alternative beers to the traditional Irish brew. All of these drinks can be found locally and are great to pair with traditional Irish foods.

• Rogue Irish-Style Lager pair with Irish boxtie potato cake with confit onions and leeks, served with whipped lemon creme fraiche and chives.

• Conway's Irish pair with Corned beef brisket with cabbage, fingerling potatoes, thumbelina carrots, in a skillet.

• Dark Starr Stout pair with Seared lamb tenderloin with tongue of fire beans, roasted Yukon gold potatoes, Tuscan kale and pearl onions.
