LEESBURG, Va. -- A northern Virginia lawyer is recovering after being shot in his Leesburg office Monday night.
Todd Sanders, 45, was in his office when shots were fired through the window during the evening rush, police said. He was struck and taken to Inova Loudoun Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Sanders is a long-time Virginia lawyer and adjunct professor at the George Washington University Law School.
Investigators do not have a motive but are looking into the possibility the suspect might be a former client.
