What was believed to be a water main break on H Street NW between 8th and 9th, right near the Chinatown arches, is just a tap that needs repairing.
And it's all WASA's fault.
The DC Water and Sewer Authority had sent crews to make repairs to a tap belonging to a house at 800 H Street. But instead, It broke, sending water spilling out into the street.
WASA says it will take two hours to cap the leak.
