New Sketch Released of Convenience Store Clerk Shooter

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office released a composite sketch of the suspect in the shooting of a convenience store clerk in March.

The sketch was released on the Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page.

Deputies said the suspect shot clerk Kelly Wood twice in the head in the Fas Mart store of Brock Road shortly before 3 a.m. He then grabbed a locked cabinet containing ephedrine from the counter.

The suspect is described as a white man, 25 to 40 years old, 5’6” to 5’8” tall, weighing 200 to 230 pounds with a reddish brown bear or goatee. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, khakis pants, and gloves.
