The Maryland Health Care Commission approved plans to establish the first new hospital in Montgomery County in more than 30 years.
The Holy Cross Hospital will be built on Montgomery College's Campus in Germantown, Md.
The proposal calls for a 93-bed facility with medical-surgical and psychiatric services.
There's no word on when construction crews will break ground.
