Maryland residents will soon have another number to memorize.
Starting on Saturday, the area code 667 will be added to 16 counties, including Anne Arundel, Calvert and Howard counties.
The new area code will only be for new customers, and will not affect anyone who already has a 410 or 443 area code.
There will not be any change in rates to dial the new area code.
