The freezing rain has stopped, but some drivers could see slick spots as they head to work Tuesday morning.

Monday's wintry weather did not have a chance to melt, leaving icy spots on many area roads.
Temperatures are expected to rise above freezing for most of the area late Tuesday morning and conditions are expected to improve as the ice melts.
Storm Team4's Amelia Draper said temperatures will be warmer on Tuesday with highs in the mid- to upper 40s, the first time in over three weeks the region will get above 35 degrees. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s Wednesday and Thursday.
She said another weather system will bring rain late on Thursday and continue to bring rain at times through at least Saturday morning. Looking further ahead, there is no extreme cold or any major snow chance in the forecast.
