Montgomery County police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in the Briggs Chaney area of Silver Spring.
A relative found the bodies of a 49-year-old man and his 39-year-old wife in their apartment at 13633 Colgate Way early Sunday morning. The names of the deceased have not been released.
A suicide note was found on the scene, but authorities are not divulging its contents. The manner of the deaths is also unknown at this time.
Investigators say that the bodies have been taken to Baltimore, where autopsies will be conducted.
