A crash involving 10 vehicles closed the HOV lanes along I-395 in Arlington for several hours and left cars scattered across the roadway.
The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. Monday in the HOV lanes near Shirlington Circle. It's not clear what caused the crash, but fire officials say 10 vehicles were involved.
Fire officials say five people were evaluated at the scene, but only one was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Crews are now working to control the fluids leaking from the vehicles.
Fire officials apologized to drivers who are stuck in the traffic, but asked for patience as they work to clean up the scene.
