An 80-year-old man from Virginia's Eastern Shore has been missing for four days, and police believe he may have last traveled through the Fredericksburg, Virginia area.
Howard Shrieves Jr. of Mappsville was reported missing just after 10 p.m. Nov. 19. The Accomack County Sheriff's Office says Shrieves was heading to Pocomoke City, Maryland, but he never arrived at his destination.
Investigators believe Shrieves may have traveled through James City County and Fredericksburg during the late evening hours of Nov. 19 and the early morning hours of Nov. 20. Shrieves was possibly heading north.
Shrieves was driving a 1999 block Ford Escort with Virginia license tags VKB2761. The sheriff's office says Shrieves suffers from Alzheimer's disease and may appear confused.
