Metro to Stay Open Late for Caps Game

Playoff-bound Caps fans won't have to worry about getting home after the game Thursday: Metro and the Verizon Center have reached a deal to keep trains running an hour late if the game goes past 11 p.m.

Entrances at three stations will be open past midnight: Gallery Place, Judiciary Square and Metro Center. But passengers will be able to exit at any station.

Puck drop for the Capitals' first playoff game, a home game against the New York Rangers, is at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
