Anyone riding the Red, Orange or Blue lines this weekend should be prepared for 20-minute waits between trains due to scheduled work.
On the Red Line, trains will run every 20 minutes with additional trains every 10 minutes between Dupont Circle and NoMa-Gallaudet from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Metro is advising anyone trying to connect between the Red and Green or Yellow lines to do so at Fort Totten.
The Orange and Blue lines will have trains running every 20 minutes as opposed to the normal 12-minute waits.
The changes will be in effect 10 p.m. Friday until closing time Sunday.
There is no scheduled work on the Green or Yellow lines, which will run on normal weekend schedules.
