Metro Trains Delayed Early Friday on Blue, Orange Lines

Metro trains on the Blue and Orange Lines were delayed early Friday because of "late clearing track work."

Trains were running on schedule as of 7:45 a.m.

Orange Line trains previously were running with delays on most of the line, between Vienna and Stadium-Armory. Blue Line trains were single-tracking between the Stadium-Armory and Addison Road stations.

Orange Line trains are running every 6 to 12 minutes, because of SafeTrack repairs. After 10 p.m., they will run every 20 minutes.
