Metro Performing Below On-Time Goals

Problems with trains and tracks are leading to longer wait times on Metro.

The agency wants trains to operate above 91 percent on-time arrival, but only the Yellow Line meets that goal.

In June, the Orange Line had the worst number with only 79 percent of trains on time.

The newer Silver Line was on time about 82 percent of the time.

Metro also has a report that some of its railcars are not lasting as long as they should between breakdowns.
