WASHINGTON -- Metro has established rules for its parking lots on Inauguration Day.
The Greenbelt, Morgan Boulevard and Van Dorn Street stations' parking lots will be restricted to charter buses only. No other vehicles will be allowed to park there. In addition, charter buses will be allowed to park at the Shady Grove, Vienna/Fairfax-GMU and West Falls Church-VT/UVA stations. Those are the only six Metro lots open to charter buses.
Charter buses that wish to park at Metro lots must register in advance beginning Monday.
The Minnesota Avenue Station lot will be restricted to Metro employees.

Metro officials say reserved parking permits won't be applicable on Jan. 20.
The transit agency close all public parking lots and garages at midnight that day. Any remaining vehicles will be ticketed and towed.
