Officers were called to the area of Baker Place East at 2:50 a.m. Monday following a report of an assault with injuries. Two people were transported to area hospitals for medical attention.

Investigators were able to follow a trail of blood to an apartment within the complex and found a group of people believed to be involved in the fight.

Several other victims were located, and police were able to identify the suspects accused in the assaults.

Both Daontae Keenan Diggs, 18, and David Tyrone Harris Jr., 32, were arrested and charged with strong armed robbery and second degree assault. Police say the duo assaulted the victims and stole their wallets.
